Protraying a classic holiday winter fantasy scene, Winter Wonderland is a great choice to help parents create beautiful and fun gifts with their children’s portraits.

Oakridge Middle School, home of the Bulldogs, will receive their finished portraits sorted by homeroom.

This is Oakridge Middle’s first year as a Splendid client and Gene Moreau, Splendid’s SW Florida Territory Manger, was on-location during picture day.

Bryce is famous in our office for dressing in all black - everyday! Here is some of our staff on Halloween, "dressed like Bryce".

Fairfax County Public Schools are in the process of switching their administrative software to iSIS.  According to Fairfax County, the transition will occur in phases throughout this school year. 

For Bryce E., Splendid’s Digital Products Coordinator; that means making sure Fairfax County continues to receive their images and student data in the format they need.  Both the images and the data have to be compiled correctly or iSIS will not except uploads.

Students at Royal Palm Academy had school picture Make-up Day and photographers at Splendid Portraits breathed a sigh of relief.

“We’ve been driving pretty hard since late August and now that Make-up Days are starting, the number of students we photograph each day will drop off. We could use the rest.” says Ian E., Photography Manager at Splendid Portraits in Cape Coral.

The Nottingham Elementary School Knights sat for their group and individual portraits today.  It was a busy day because school enrollment is now over 500 students.  But thanks to the always well-organized parents, office staff and teachers, picture day went smoothly and stayed on time.

Oakton, VA

Flint Hill Elementary School’s mascot, Falco, finally had his foto taken yesterday.  Falco, not known for being foto-sensitive, smiled fondly for the fotographer and managed not to blink when the lights flashed.

“Falco seemed a little scared of the lights, but settled down and gave a very nice smile”, commented Splendid Fotographer Monica S.  ” We tried to comb his fluffy furry fur but feared we had the wrong kind of comb.  I hope his mom and dad don’t send him back on Make-up Day.”

According to a teacher, speaking off the record, the students of Flint Hill choose Falco’s name by vote.

Well Falco, we think you’re a good egg for having your foto taken.  See you in the yearbook.

Today, I’m drinking Daybreak Morning Blend. It’s a refreshing choice.

After bowling a 720 last week, I bowled a 420 last night. I bowled so bad!!!

Last weekend, Terry and I picked apples at an orchard in Winchester. It was incredible – with rows of trees, yummy cinnamon doughnuts and lots of people. It was a beautiful afternoon.

Next Friday the 28th, Jackie, our Yearbook Publishing Manager, and I are looking forward to seeing a lot of you at the Diocesan Education Institute Conference at Bishop O’Connell High School. If you’re going, please stop by and see us at our booth!
