Ordering A Picture Package
Can I order a package after picture day?
About two weeks after picture day, your child will receive a Second Chance Order Receipt with a proof and a unique individual and class image locator number. After that, you’ll be able to go to SplendidPortraits.com to place an order.


How do I find my image locator number?
Your child's image locator number is printed on the receipt inside your child's portrait envelope.
Can I choose a different background?
Yes, return to the home page of this website, enter your image locator number, and choose your background.
When will I receive my portraits?
If you ordered at school you’ll receive your portraits in about three weeks. If you ordered online, you’ll receive your portraits in about one to two weeks.
My child was absent on picture day.
Most schools offer a Make-Up Day. Check with your school office to get the date.



I forgot my payment on picture day.
Don’t worry. You will receive a second chance order receipt with your child’s image and an image locator number. You will then be able to order a picture package on this website.





There’s A Problem With My Order



I‘m missing part of my order.
Please complete the Package Correction Form and we’ll mail you the missing part.
I am missing my entire package.
We’d be happy to get that fixed for you. Please let us know what you ordered by completing the Package Correction Form.


I received the wrong background.
Please complete the Package Correction Form and be sure to include the Background Number you want for your portrait.
My child’s name is misspelled.
Please complete the Package Correction Form and be sure to include the correct spelling of your child’s name.
I am missing my Group Picture.
We’d be happy to get that fixed for you. Please complete the Package Correction Form.
I don’t like my portrait.
Our portraits are Satisfaction Guaranteed so if you don't like it we'll take it again or give you a refund.
A Retake: Have your child come to Make-up Day with their portrait package and their Picture Order Receipt. If your package contains a group picture, keep it and return only the individual pictures you want retaken.
A Refund: If you would like a refund, please complete a Refund Form and mail it with your portraits to SplendidPortraits.

I can’t find my background on the website.
You may have left off the letter which precedes your image locator number.
What is a digital download?
This is a high resolution image that allows you to print, share and even post your portrait to Facebook®. If your package does not include a download, you can purchase one at SplendidPortraits.com.
My child’s image is not on the website.
For security reasons, your child’s image will not appear on the website. The image you see is a model. Your child’s image is on the receipt in your picture package.


Why a $1.97 handling fee for downloads?
Our fee offsets credit card and processing charges.
How do I receive my download?
If you purchased a download with your package, log on to SplendidTown.com and enter your image locator number.
Can I order a group picture download?
Sorry, we are unable to send a digital image of other people’s children.



I‘d like my portrait retouched.
Our filter softens blemishes and enhances skin tones. If you want hand retouching by a professional graphic artist, this service is available for a fee of $30. Please contact our Customer Service Representatives at 866.847.2814 for more information.
I‘d like the copyright of my portraits.
Even though you purchased school portraits of your child, the original image remains the property of SplendidPortraits. A Copyright Release may be obtained by purchasing the digital image of your portrait at SplendidPortraits.com.
Can I order pictures from last school year?
Unfortunately, we only keep our images in our systems for six months after picture day, so those images are no longer available.
