Return your Picture Order Envelope to your school office or your child’s teacher. Our photographer will collect the Order Envelopes on picture day and print the proper package.

Your school will distribute Picture Order Envelopes and reminders with the date of picture day.

Most schools offer a Make-Up Day for students who were absent on picture day or not pleased with their portrait. Check with your school office to inquire about Make-Up Day.

We'll deliver your child's portraits to his or her school within three weeks of picture day. If you ordered online, you’ll receive your finished pictures in one to two weeks.

If your child wears glasses most of the time, then by all means, have them photographed wearing their glasses. We will adjust our lights to eliminate reflection in the lenses.

Choose accessories that won’t distract from your portrait. Simple earrings, necklaces and hair adornments are timeless. Large accessories tend to distract from the subject and seem to date quickly.

Wear solid colors, preferably more subdued colors that enhance skin tones and doesn’t distract from the child. We also recommend avoiding sleeveless tops and brightly patterned clothing.

Our retouching filter will soften blemishes and enhance skin tones. They will not necessarily remove all remnants of unwanted artifacts.

We’ll have plenty of combs and adult helpers on hand to prepare your child for their portrait.

Billfold wallets are 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches. Mini wallets are 1 3/4 by 2 1/2 inches.

Even though you purchased school portraits of your child, the original image remains the property of SplendidPortraits. If you purchase a digital image of your portrait, you can print and share the image as you like.
